The lections and the seminars are well, but not really usefull in the work.
V.P. Yakovlev is the one of the best proffessors at MEPhI. He is well known in the Europe as a scientist, investigating quantum computers and lasers effects. Therefore, his scientific level is actually very high, but a little bit specific. It means, that he gave at the lectures and seminars mainly stuffs which he use. But he skips a lot of other important quantum things, which he do not use in HIS field of researches. That make a situation. that students do not really have another veiw for science, which is very important if you are working not in the same topic as he do.
